We offer our members many events throughout the year, some exclusive to the hockey club, while others integrate with the rest of the Athletic union. 

 
 

Charity Sportos Dance Off

Every year Sports Teams from the Athletic Union participate in the Charity Dance off.  Hockey have won it for two years in a row, can we win it for a third?

Great South Run

The Great South Run is held in the heart of Portsmouth at the end of October.  With 20+ members running every year, this event is an excellent fundraiser that all can do!

Athletic Union Tour

Need I say anymore?

Christmas Dinner

Get out your dinner jackets and best dresses for this amazing event.  As a club we come together to celebrate our success over the festivities of Christmas.  There's lots of awards, turkey and wine, what more could you want?

Cricket vs Hockey Charity Rugby Match

Our annual event where we try to pretend that we can play Rugby against the Cricket Club.  Raising close to £1000, this event is one to play or spectate, your in for a gooden!

Varsity

Just before Easter we participate in a University Varsity against Southampton. Everyone receives a supporters tshirt along with face paint. So bring your outside voices and support the Hockey Club against our biggest rivals!

Islanders

This hockey festival offers a great break from a busy time of study.  The festival is held at HMS Temeraire, just next to the Students Union. With lots of teams entering and crazy cool kit, Islanders is something you don't want to miss out on!

End of Season Dinner

A brilliant event to finish off the hockey season.  We all dress up and celebrate the success of the club.  With many awards and special mentions, the end of season is such a rememberable night.

Tough Mudder

We are looking to enter some of our members into next years Tough Mudder.  Do you have what it takes?  We will provide physical and mental training for this grueling 12 Mile obstacle course!

Athletic Union Dinner

Another amazing evening spent celebrating all that is great about the Athletic Union. Outstanding members will receive recognition along with colors. Will Portsmouth Hockey Club win any prizes this year?

Summer Break - Newquay

Exams are finished and it is time to come together as a club and celebrate down in Newquay.  This 5 day holiday is exactly what everyone needs, sun, dress up and your mates.
