UPHC Committee 2014/15

The Committee are the members who run the club in partnership with the Student's Union.  We have 19 committee members, each with their own particular role within the club.  Get to know them a bit better below!
 
 

President - Joe Sheppard

Your new Hockey President this year!  The keenest bean of them all, tour mad, and all round nice guy Joe Sheppard! 

Vice-President - Gio Woods

Giorgia Woods, your vice-president this year, famous for shortening every sentence so much that she is now known as G!

Club Secretary - Steph Lurshay

AKA Snipes Lurshay, well known for stacking it on pitch for no valid reason, catching fire and being the keenest hockey player UPHC has to offer. She can't wait for the new term to start to get into fancy dress and have a glorious time

Male Club Captain - Jonny Reigate

All round stud Jonathon Reigate or Slygate known to many.  This chap is funny, motivated and occasionally inspirational.

Female Club Captain - Annie Milroy

The most Essex of the club, Annie Milroy provides regular amusement for all UPHC members.  Ex Social Sec and all round scandylous gal

Umpire Liaison Officer - Anna Martin

Franna everyone, renounded for pulling incredibly unhuman faces on a night out.  This gal has to sit cross legged 24/7 to stop herself weeing so much as she is soo excited about UPHC!....and Shep.....and umpires!

Rhianydd Weale - Social Secretary

Some call herrhi rhianydhfjfjfkdb or dobby. She loves funnels and sheep and is a laid back person and an easy person to get along with! She cannot wait to organise this year socials! It's going to be sickkkkkkkk!

Taylor Felton - Social Secretary

Point him in the direction of socialand he’ll be there to have a good time. He’s looking forward to meeting all the new freshers and making sure they have as great a year as he will.

Tim Warburton - Media Secretary

 

Aaron Mueller - Mens Saturday Team Cpt

This German born chap is the new Saturday team captain.  With back to back to back to back promotion he is looking to take another successful year.

Mary Wetherall - Ladies Saturday Team Cpt

The cutest and most loved member of UPHC.  Mazza Weth is the person to know. "Everyone should play Saturday team, it's going to be insane!!"

George Brooker - Mens 1st Cpt

Possibly the posh-est person to step among Portsmouth.  George Brooker is the 1st XI captain and ready to gain promotion this season

Saawan Patel - Mens 2nd Cpt

Renowned for being the best asian as well as the best looking guy in the club. Guys want to be him, girls want to be with him. All in all a top boii (So Modest Saawan).

Brandon Begg - Mens 3rd Cpt

 

Rory Brandon - Mens 4th Cpt

Rory has been on placement for the last year and is looking forward to coming back to "unay". His favourite food is salmon and sweet potato and his idols are Harry Styles and Justin Bieber!

Adam Sas - Mens 5th Cpt

Adam is probably the tallest member in the club and plays in goal. He is fluent in both English and Polish (good deals on building work) and his favourite Christmas meat is goose.

Fran Clements - Ladies 1s Cpt

Clem, the new 1st XI Ladies Captain. This "slitty" character enjoys eventful nights out and lemons!  This gal is looking to gain promotion and make lots of new friends!

Nicola Koning - Ladies 2s Cpt

Nicola has been part of UPHC for the last year. She enjoys playing hockey and various challenges. Her faviourite dress Up is chav and is most likely to say "I’m coming out for just one" and end up out all night!

Jen Meredith - Ladies 3s Cpt

Super keen bean who enjoys wearing tiaras and arts and crafts.  Jen is looking to have a super fun year with the Ladies 3s on and off the pitch!!
